Reviews and Ratings
The hotel is centrally located in the lively Gaslamp Quarter of San Diego, making it easy to access all the exciting attractions in the area. The rooms offer glimpse views of the beer garden and are equipped with a queen-size bed, though the small window with tinted glass is fixed. The service was accommodating and even made an effort to fulfill my request to change rooms when needed. However, there wasn't a wide array of dining options available besides some fresh bagels from local bakeries. The hotel facilities were sufficient for a pleasant stay with a few minor drawbacks to consider.
The hotel is ideally located in the Gas Lamp area, making it a convenient choice for exploring downtown San Diego. The rooms, though with some limitations like blocked windows, offer a comfortable stay, and the service, including a helpful staff and laundry service, enhances the overall experience. Dining options may be somewhat limited, but the facilities are well-maintained for a pleasant stay.
I stayed at this hotel with my 3-year-old and found the room to be comfortable with a Queen size bed directly in front of the kitchen. The small window had tinted glass that couldn't be opened. The service was responsive to my request to change rooms. The location was ideal, right in the center of the historic Gaslamp district, although it was a bit noisy due to being near a busy nightclub. The dining options were limited, but I enjoyed the delicious marmalade. The hotel facilities were satisfactory.
